Personal Property
Property that is moveable; i.e., not real estate
Trespass to Chattels
Comitting any act of direct physical interference with a chattel (personal property) possessed by another without lawful justification.
Conversion
Where damage to property is more severe than in an ordinary trespass, the plantiff can sue to have the defendant forcibly purchase the property from him for its full value.
Accession
The aquisition of title of personal property that is attained through the process of putting labor or raw materials into the improvement of the personal property.

A gift given from one living person to another living person

The transer of possession from one person to another
Constructive Delivery
A delivery that is implied in law even though it has not occured in fact
Deed
A document that serves as an intstrument of conveyance for an item that, for whatever reason, cannot be physically delivered.

A gift that is given in contemplation of impending death
Bailment
The delivery of possession of personal property for a certain purpose other than the intent to transfer the titile to the recipient
Possession
The holding of personal property so tha the holder has the power to exercise complete dominion and control over the property
Custody
The holding of personal property so that the holder merely has control over it for the purpose of inspection, preservation or security of the property
Gratuitous Bailee
A bailee who is watching over bailment property for no compensation and who is recieving no benefit from the bailment relationship

A bailment relationship, in which both parties left
