Bitchy
Saying someone is bitch is very rude, but saying that someone is a bit bitchy or that they make bitchy comments is not rude. It means that they say unkind things about people. We can also be a bitch about or have a butch about people or things when we complain about them.

Hype
Hype is advertising and other kinds of publicity that tries to get everybody talking about how good something is. Sometimes things don’t live up to the hype and are a real let-down. You can then tell people Don’t belive the hype! The media sometimes hypes things up to make them sound better than they are.
What a drag !
If something is a drag, it’s annoying and boring. You don’t want to do it, or talk or think about it.

Some people feel embarrassed about bodily functions. An informal way (only with friends) of talking about having wind is to say He keeps farting.
Feared dead
Feared dead means that people think that they are dead. It is very common in news reports and newspapers,
Gutter press
The gutter is the side of the road where water drains away. The gutter press is a negative name for tabloid newspapers that contain a lot of stories about crime, sex and celebrities. Sometimes people complain about sensationlist examples of gutter journalism. If you disapprove of swearing, you can call it the language of gutter.
She’s had her nose done
If someone has their nose done, they have plastic surgery to make their nose look nicer. Maybe they have it made longer or made it’s made smaller. People often say She’s had a nose job. If you have your breast done, you have implants and have them enlarged. This is often called having a boob job.
Nicked
Nicked is an informal word meaning ‘stolen’. People also often say stolen things fell off the back of a lorry.
A bit loud
If you describe someone’s clothes as being a bit loud, you don’t like them and think that they’re too bright and / or that the patterns are too strong. You can also describe a person as being a bit loud if you think they like to be the center of attention and talk too loudly.

This is a sarcastic way of saying we’re 100% sure of the reason for something.
A. I can’t believe we got burgled !
B. Yeah, well, it might’ve had something to do with the fact that YOU left the keys in the front door.
