What is personification?
Personification is a figure of speech that gives human characteristics to non-human things.
Idiom
word or phrase that means something different from its literal meaning
Onomatopoeia
word that sounds like the object that it is describing
Irony
The opssite of what you would expect to happen.
Plot
The way a story is built like how the story is put together
Logos
To use logos in an argument u have to rely on the rationality and logic of the audience. Logos relies on evidence and facts
Ethos
Ethos is built on the idea that we believe in people we trust and find convincing.
Pathos
an appeal that brings emotion, such as feelings of anger or sadness
metaphor
comparison of two unlike things without the word like or as.
