Expect the author’s voice to be more passive and neutral, presenting information from third-parties rather than their own opinions, and the purpose of the passage to be informative

The general theme or topic of the passage; encompasses most of what the passage presents
Main point
A summarization of the entire passage
Primary purpose
Why did the author write this passage?
