What is the difference between a REGULATION and a STANDARD?
A REGULATION says you shall or must do something. A STANDARD tells you how you must do it.
Eg. The requirement for displaying registration marks on an aircraft is a regulation. How the marks must be displayed (letter height, location, etc.) is in the corresponding standards.
The regulations pertaining to AME licensing are found in CAR 403. Where are the corresponding standards found?
