What passage do you read first
The one you like the most
When reading do what to nouns and verbs

Remember tough question do not reference a location in the text.
Do this by circling easy questions.

For tough questions read the rest of the paragraphs you didn’t read be for.

How to find the Main Idea of a paragraph
A summary that is too narrow is too specific- it only uses one or two ideas from the text.
A summary that is too broad is too general- it says more then what is provided, it says things that are not given
How to find the Main Idea of a passage.
Paragraph + Paragraph = Passage
Look at the short hand or pics of the paragraphs for all of them
Vocabulary “in line 5 Most nearly means:
only read that sentence
Difference between Author and Narrator.
Author is the person that wrote it and the narrator is the person the author is using to tell the story.
