Method for preparing a soluble salt

A
  1. Heat acid on a bunsen burner and wait until it is almost boiling.
  2. Keep adding metal oxide, until stopped dissolving and is is excess.
  3. Filter mixture, so only liquid is left.
  4. Fill beaker of water to 100cm^3 and place above bunsen burner. Place evaporating dish with filtered mixture on top.
  5. Wait for water to evaporate and take off when small crystals start forming.
  6. Wait until all water has evaporated, then dry off salt crystals with paper towel.
