What is a community?
A community is a place where people have a sense of belonging, acceptance and participation.
Why are communities important?
Communities are important because without them, we will never develop our human potential.
What are the characteristics of a community and why are they important?
The three characteristics are gathering, leaders and rules. Gathering is important because without it, the members never see each other. Leaders are important because no one would be in control. Rules are important because there would be chaos otherwise.
Why is family a community?
A family is a community because it gathers at the dinner table, it’s leaders are Mum & Dad and they have basic rules.
Everyone longs to be accepted and God is the only one that can satisfy the void. How can you help God fill that void?
You can help God by praying a couple of times a day and living a life as free from sin as you can
Why is Kolbe a community?
Kolbe is a community because it gathers at assemblies, it’s leaders are Ms Miller and the Heads of Year and it has a school rule list.
Why is a Parrish a community?
A Parrish is a community because it gathers at mass, it’s leader is the priest and it follows God’s rules
What are 3 areas that communities help you develop?
Physically, Intellectually, Spiritually
Why and how some people fail to contribute to a community?
Some people fail to contribute to a community by not listening to rules and only caring about themselves. They do it because they don’t care about the consequences of their actions.
