The time when black people rebelled against inequality between black and white people. They campaigned and protested against the discrimination they faced.
The Civil Rights Movement
The belief that conflict can be resolved using peaceful method. A pacifist would disagree with violence. Martin Luther King, a Christian baptism minister famously used pacifist method to resolve the issue of inequality between black and white people.
Pacifism
An influential Civil Rights leader whose Christian beliefs led him to be a pacifist. He wanted integration and equal rights for black people in the USA.
