Bimah
The bimah is a raised platform and is a raised platform and is often in the centre of the prayer hall. There is a reading, which the Torah is read from.
Aron Hakodesh
The Aron Hakodesh, often known as the ark, is the most important place inside all synagogues. The Aron Hakodesh is where the Torah Scroll is kept.
Ner tamid
Ner tamid means eternal light in hebrew and is a lamp that burns perpetually in Jewish synagogues before or near the ark of the law

Tzitzit are specially knotted ritual fringes, or tassels, worn in antiquity by Israelites and today by observant Jews and Samaritans.
Amidah
The Amidah also called the Shemoneh Esreh is a prayer consisting of a varying number of blessings recited while the worshippers stand.
Shema
The Shema is regarded by many Jews as the most important prayer in Judaism. This is because it reminds them of the key principle of the faith - there is only one God.
Shabbat
Shabbat is the Jewish Day of Rest. Shabbat happens each week from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday.
