It influences Buddhists today to realise the impermanence of the material world – including our youth.
. This means that they realise that nothing lasts for ever, This is part of the Dhamma (the natural law). So they will aim to have an attitude of enjoying their youth and the youth of others with the realisation and acceptance that old age will come to everyone we know. The suffering from this loss of youth is an inevitable part of our existence. No amount of money can stop this.
