They were a powerful group of jews that studied the jewish law carefully and did not co-operate with the romans

Hated Roman conquorers,beleived there was no master except god and would stab roman soldiers and just dissapear

A small group of rich and powerful jews,had good relations with the Romans,rivals were the saducees

Is a teacher or leader that studies the jewish scriptures for a lifetime and remind people of the jewish laws

They were the supream religious leader of the jews and were chosen by Romans to carry out orders.They ran the temple and were the only people aloud in the holy of holies

Gave punishment to people who did wrong.made of a group of 7 men and met in secret chambers.Even though they could give out death sentences it had to go through the romans

A man got mugged and robbed.A preist walked by didnt help.When the Samaritan saw the man, he took pity on him. He bandaged him and cleaned his wounds. He then put him on the back of his donkey and took him to an innkeeper, whom he paid to look after him. The parable ends with Jesus giving a commandment to go out and do the same as the Samaritan had done.
What is a miracle
In this context, a miracle is an event that goes
against the laws of nature. It is a dramatic sign
of God’s power.
