How are we first introduced to both King Priam and Queen Elizabeth?
They are both introduced to us in their full regal dress, presented in their roles as both a leader and a member of royalty. Queen Elizabeth’s initial display makes her out to be a painting, and breaking the fourth wall by staring directly down the camera.
Describe some similarites between Somax, Tony Blair, and Alastair Campbell.
They all play a pivotal role in keeping their text’s respective leaders grounded and aware of their own mistakes or misguided thoughts/actions. Somax is the voice of the “common man” for Priam, explaining the beauty in the ordinary and the way of normal life. Tony Blair and Alastair Campbell give insight into how disconnected Queen Elizabeth is from her people, attmepting to have her face the truth that she must adapt to her new surroundings.
[The Queen] “I want to set an ambitious course to…”
