Avoid in clients stabilised on phenytoin and warfarin

Pharmacodynamics
A
Rapid acting histamine H2 antagonist. Inhibits basal and stimulated secretion of gastric acid, reducing vol and acid and pepsin content of the secretion.
Single 150mg lasts 12 hours.
