Worse than or equal to 20/200 with best correction in the better eye or a visual field extent of less than 20 degrees in diameter.
Ontario DOT Requirements
- 6/15 or better
- VF >= 120
WHO definition of low vision
- 6/18 or worse, but better than 3/60 in the better eye
OR - VF less than 10 degrees
CNIB Eligiblity
- worse than 6/21 (20/70) to better than 6/60
If vision is better than 6/21, OMD/OD will have to report why they have a visual disability.
Priority for TBI or stroke patients.

- require long term assistance (6 months+)
