- Check electrolytes and integrate potassium-rich foods. Limit sodium use
- Listen to lung sounds to assess effectiveness
- Take in the morning and drink 6-8 glasses of water
- Evaluate creatinine and BUN

- Withhold if HR is below 60 BPM
- Report manifestations of Dig toxicity (Anorexia, N/V, Abdo pain)
- Avoid antacids and laxatives – Decrease Dig absorption
- Incorporate potassium rich foods
