With verb stems that end in ka-, sa-, and ha-, it is possible to make these into polite sentences by adding “yo” to the end of the words.

Korean Names

A

Korean names generally consist of three syllables. The first part is the surname which is followed by two syllable first name.

When you’re referring to someone who you know well, use their first name. If you are introduced to someone who you are not familiar with or and just met for the first time add “-ssi” the end of the name: Doojin-ssi
