Nausea, postural hypotension, difficulty concentrating, lower doses are better or can try cabergoline.

A
Inability to tolerate meds, not respondign to meds, or size >3cm and wants to get pregnant.

Treatment length in pituitary adenomas
A
Med tx for 1 yr then stop, check prolactin. If increasing or new symptoms may need chronic therapy, no need to treat in postmenopausal women.

IGF-1 pituitary mass, treatment?
A
surgery is treatment of choice in microadenomas, consider with microadenomas if easily resectable. Doesn’t repond well to medicine.
