What is MYOSITIS OSSIFICANS
A
Condition characterized by calcification of muscle caused by neglecting to properly treat a muscle strain or contusion.

What is OSTEOCHONDRITIS DISSECANS?
A
Condition where subchondral bone and it’s associated cartilage crack and separate from the end of the bone.

What is OSTEOMYELITIS?
A
An infection that occurs within the bone, most commonly secondary to staphylococcus aureus microbe.

What are symptoms of OSTEOMYELITIS?
A
Similar to other infections like fever and chills…localized complaints are pain, edema and erythema.

A
a discoloration of the skin resulting from bleeding underneath, typically caused by bruising
