What are the types of NOTAM?
- NOTAMN: NOTAM containing new info.
- NOTAMR: NOTAM replacing a previous NOTAM
- NOTAMC: NOTAM cancelling a previous NOTAM
When should a NOTAM be disseminated?
1) Establishment, closure or significant changes in operation of aerodromes/heliports or runways.
- Establishment, discontinuance or changes of prohibited, restricted or danger areas.
- Major changes to search and rescue facilities.
- Establishment, withdrawal or significant changes of aeronautical services.
- Establishment, withdrawal or significant changes made to air navigation.
- Presence of hazards which affect air navigation (including obstacles, military exercise, displays, races)
