A
blood vessels = white lines (branch and taper to periphery); cannot differentiate bet pulmonary arteries and veins bronchi: invisible, thin walled, contain air and surrounded by air

retrosternal clear space
A
relatively lucent crescent behind sternum, will fill-in w/ soft tissue density when anterior mediastinal mass is present
