Typical MRI appearance of MS lesions in the cervical spine?
A
- Common cause of intramedullary cord lesions, particularly in the cervical spinal cord
- Often eccentrically located and usually span < 1.5 vertebral bodies in length
- May be associated enhancement in setting of active demyelination
- Combined gray and white matter involvement is common in the spine (unlike the brain).
