What are the aims of radio reporting?
To provide the force with maximum warning of an enemy attack
What are the requirements for radio reporting?
- GOOD COMMS
- CORRECT USE OF PROCEDURES
- STRICT CONTROL OF THE NET

What are the different call signs?
- INTERNATIONAL
- DAILY CHANGING
- AIR DEFENSE
What is a International call sign?
Given to all ships when they are built eg. GLZM or SFNM (4 Characters)
What is a Daily Changing call sign?
Made up of 3 characters and they change every day at 23:59 they only have a number in their first and second character, never the first.
What is a Air Defense call sign?
These call signs never change, they can be found in ATP1 and are promulgated in the OPTASK AAW
What is Call the Collective?
A call sign to pass a message to the whole force. MUST BE USED CAREFULLY
What is the Acronym for Control Orders?
SWISDREC
What does the Acronym SWISDREC mean?
SWEEP (Carry out an all round search) WATCH (Continue to sweep) INTERROGATE SCAN (Scan the sector) DROPTRACK REPORT (Frequent reports) ESTIMATE CONFIRM
