  • Locators;
  • Approach lighting;

INOP. ILS COMPONENTS…

A
  • If Localiser is inoperative, cannot fly the ILS;
  • If Glide Path is in inoperative, approach is still allowable but with greater minima;
  • If Marker Beacons are not available, then either GPS or DME can be used.

  • There is no change during VMC (day or night);
  • In IMC, prevailing vis. must be equal or greater than published minimum in instrument approach;
  • lighting requirements increased by x 1.5.
