An AMPLIFIER
Use the kneeboard for freq card - who is on what channel
UHF - receiver two (freq starts with a two or three)
VHF - (freq starts with a 1 [civilian])
RX volume - receiver volume for hearing others
VOX -
ISO/EMR and Normal - normal means ICS in cockpit; ISO/EMR places radio on battery saver mode (cant transmit, cant hear)
TX - green light shows transmission outside cockpit
ICS/VOX - ICS on always, or have to key it to talk
UHF - two way radio; Guard receiver incorporated fix-tuned 243.0
