Proper Radio Sending
Upon leaving institution vehicle radio shall contact their Central Control & change channel to 1-A, 2A, 3A (repeater channel) to contact CCU on local trunking channel
Receiving Procedures
CCU will respond with brief message. The vehicle radio will use a reverse transmission informing CCU of their arrival and destination. After notifying CCU the radio operator switches to local repeater channel to contact institution
Transporting Inmates
⭐️ Maintain Radio comm w CCU
⭐️ Sign off with institution & contact CCU on local channel
⭐️Identify yourself by your vehicle number (identifies where you are from)
⭐️ Always state who you are.
⭐️ Await a response from CCU
