Difference between referrer., practitioner and operator?
Referrer (HCP) - reffer to practitioner must provide sufficient evidence for exposure
Practitioner - responsible for medical exposure and justifies x-ray
Operator - carrier out clinical aspect
What is a controlled area?
Often designated as a whole area
If dose exceeds 6mSv/year
Special procedures to restrict exposure

Less 1mSv per year
