Racism
Belief one racial group is superior or inferior to another
Communism
a political and economic ideology that advocates for the establishment of a classless society in which all resources and wealth are owned and controlled by the community as a whole

Totalitarianism
A form of government that prohibits political parties, outlaws individual opposition, exercises a high degree of control and has total control over the lives of its citizens

- extreme form of authoritarianism
- imposes set of beliefs on people
- law does not apply to the state
- individual freedom are restricted
Fascism
a far-right, authoritarian, ultra-nationalist ideology and movement, characterised by a dictator, militarism, suppression of opposition, belief in a social hierarchy and a strong regime

- “Fasces” meaning a symbol of strength in unity
- war and violence as a means to rejuvenation

a totalitarian movement based on intense nationalism that shares elements of Italian fascism. Is an anti-intellectual, atheoretical movement

- viewed world divided into races - the superior and the inferior
jewish people were seen as ‘monsters’
