What is praxis?
- reflection and action in the direction of the transforming world
- values made visible through deliberate action

What is empowerment?
- the growth of personal strength, power, and ability to enact one’s one will and love for self in the context of love and respect for others
- not self-indulgence, but strength that comes from real solidarity from those who seek peace
- strength doesn’t grow individually but together with those whose values are shared
- Am I expressing my own will in the context of love and respect for others?
What is awareness?
- an active, growing knowledge of self and others in the world you live
- Am I fully aware of others and myself, and do I bring these awarenesses to our discussions?
What is cooperation?
- an active commitment to group solidarity and group integrity
- moving away from anything that means power over an individual or a group
- Do I honor and encourage other people’s opinions, skills, and contributions?
What is evolvement?
- the commitment to grow where change and transformation are conscious and deliberate
- Do I welcome practices the encourage growth and change for others, the group, and myself?
What does “peace is not” mean?
- stems away from “keeping the peace”
- move away from things that cause disease and distract.. don’t just “let them slide”
What are group dynamics?
-communication that takes place between members in any group
What must be present for a group to remain effective?
- maintains a degree of group adhesion or unity
- develop and modify its structure to to improve effectiveness

-not just think about ourselves but use language to represent ourselves to others
