etc)

Pre-program
Process
- during/after program
- Satisfaction by surveys
- attendance/participation by logs
- interviews/survey if they liked the program
Impact
- After program or pre vs post (best)
- What did they learn right after the program?
- KAS/behavior oriented
- Surveys
Outcome
- after or pre vs post
- Long term/health-outcomes
- more clinical/ stats/ comparing literature
- Surveys can also be used here
If given a basic program description- be able to identify and connect/integrate a behavioral model for the educational approach
HBM (cues to action, self-efficacy, perceived benefits, perceived barriers)
TTM (self-efficacy) identify what stage they are in (pre, contemplation, preparation, action, maintenance) want to get them into action stage and preparation at minimum
If given a basic program description- be able to write SMART objectives that align with the program goal/mission
need to be measurable and specific ( 50%, 5/10)
- people with type 2 diabetes will bring there hA1C down to less than 6% by this amount of weeks or by this date)
- be realistic (start small) with % behavior change ( 25-50)
3 “tips” for a Letter of Support (LOS)
- Should be positive towards the project
● Should explain any existing
relationship/prior experience working
together
● Should articulate what will be provided
in support (e.g., volunteers, interns,
space, staff, other resources)
● Should align with program goals and
objectives
● Should be on official organizational
letterhead
● Can offer to “draft” for the organization
(but be careful to include relevant
information, e.g., such as the group’s
mission, other stats, etc, and how they
aligns with the proposed program)
