Alopecia
The nurse will assess for planning before hair loss such as wigs and provide teaching that cooling caps, avoiding sunlight, using sunscreen, and cover the head may decrease hair loss
Angiogenesis
The nurse will teach patients about the side effects of angiogenesis inhibitors (mTOR), such as hyperglycemia, hypersensitivity, headache, N/V, etc.
Benign tumor
The nurse will teach patient the examples of benign tumors such as moles, uterine fibroid tumors, skin tags, nasal polyps, etc.

The nurse will assess the result of the grading of malignant tumor and provide teaching of introduction of drug therapy, themotherapy, radiation, and chemoradiation.
Metastasis
The nurse will assess for staging, cancer pain location, intensity, quality, duration and intervene with drug therapy for comfort relief
Mucositis
The nurse will intervene by giving ice water, ice chips and provide frequent mouth assessment and oral hygiene
Neutropenia
The nurse will assess for patient risk for sepsis such as reduced neutrophils, high fever, purulent drainage, etc and intervene with hand washing and aseptic technique.
Oncogenesis
The nurse will assess the pt’s family history, exposure to carcinogens (like tobacco, chemicals, and radiation), lifestyle factors (diet, exercise), and any symptoms that could indicate cancer (such as unexplained weight loss, fatigue, or changes in skin).
Primary cancer prevention
The nurse will provide teaching of chemoprevention, Vaccination (HPV), Avoidance of known or potential carcinogens.
Secondary cancer prevention
The nurse will provide teaching of regular screening for timely prevention and self noticing of unusual signs like hard lumps for breast cancer.
Vesicants
The nurse will assess for extravasation such as tissue integrity impairment such as blistering, tissue sloughing, or necrosis from infiltration into the surrounding tissues.
