He takes what Jesus says literally.

Miracles don’t lead a person to salvation, being born again does.
Why must Christians be discerning with miracles?
They don’t know if the miracles are from God.
How do Christians discern miracles?
They look to scripture.

The meaning of being born again; it is necessary for salvation and redemption; God’s first priority.

There is light in the world, but we go to the darkness because of our evil sin nature, but those who live in the light please God.

Go fearlessly and boldly out into the world to spread the gospel to unbelievers.
What does John the apostle mean about “living in the light”?
It exposes our sin
Why do people hate living in the light?
People hate living in the light because the light makes people vulnerable, and it exposes their evil works.
What is the nature of new birth?
Being born pf the water and spirit
Who provides new birth? How?
Jesus does, by dying on the cross
Why isn’t new birth a second chance?
Because we don’t have to restart.

They judge others about their religion when they are not perfect.
