Body functions: Physiological functions of the body
Body structures: Anatomy, and specific body parts
Occupational therapy practitioners primarily focus on body structures.

What are your thoughts about motivating clients, how can you assess/address therapy through their values and belief systems? Why is this important? What could be challenging about this?
There are many factors of motivation when it comes to client participation. When considering a clients internal factors we will address therapy through their values/beliefs. It’s important to respect a persons values and beliefs because Occupational Therapy is client centered. This can be challenging because sometimes the treatment truly needed, will not be given.
