Food enters the laryngeal vestibule but is not aspirated.
Lateral Chew
Moving food from one side of mouth to the other with the tongue while mixing bolus with saliva.
Fundoplication
A surgical procedure in which the upper part of the stomach is wrapped around the lower end of the esophags and sutured in place as a treatment for reflux of stomach contents into the esophaguas.
