How to switch to DEGRADED MODE?
If the remote electronics unit and the audio control panel fail, it will switch to the degraded mode. All the transmitters selectors will not be serviceable except for VHF 1. Also in the degraded mode, the hand mic is not serviceable or not working.
What will happen when an attendant’s handset is detached from the handset switch hook?
If an attendant’s handset is detached from its headset switch hook, the attendant can talk or transmit information without pushing the push to talk button. It is like intercom.
