1. Do you expect pellet shipments from Russia will halt?
2. We saw Orsted announce a halt in buying from Russia. Do you think other firms will follow?
3. Is there pressure from European governments on companies to stop doing business with Russia? Or a voluntary will from firms to do so?
4. How will the partial SWIFT ban on Russian banks and EU/UK sanctions – including EU’s one on Belarus’ wood and timber industry – affect the pellets market, particularly production in the Baltics which secures big chunks of raw material from Russia and Belarus?
5. We heard last week that Russian pellets may now be considered unsustainable from an SBP point of view, as SBP certification requires pellets are supplied from low-risk countries of origin. Is this correct, and if so, will this prevent companies seeking SBP certification from buying Russian pellets?
6. , we heard late last week some ship owners were unwilling to offer vessels out of St Petersburg amid SWIFT ban fears, and that rates have increased significantly in the region. Do you see similarly?
