Hinduism (reincarnation)
Definition: The belief that after death, the soul is reborn in a new body.

Hinduism(caste systems)
Definition: A social hierarchy in Hindu society that divides people into different groups (called “castes”) based on their birth.
Key Point: The caste system has traditionally assigned people to different roles and duties, ranging from priests and scholars (Brahmins) to laborers (Shudras), with those outside the system called “untouchables.”
Note: The caste system is no longer legally enforced in modern India, but it still influences some social practice

The climate and environment helped decide where ancient people lived. They lived near rivers or places with plenty of water and good land for farming. In warm places, they grew crops all year. In cold places, they hunted animals and picked plants for food. They also used things like wood to build and animals for food and clothes. All of these things helped them survive and live.
How did ancient man get his subsistence?
Ancient people got what they needed to survive in different ways. They hunted animals and gathered plants, farmed crops, tamed animals for food and clothes, and fished near water. They used the surrounding resources, like plants, animals, and water, to meet their needs and stay alive.
What does a civilization have to have
A civilization has certain key features that make it organized and complex. It includes cities, a system of government, writing, specialized jobs, social classes, religion, technology, and trade. These elements help a society grow, stay organized, and become more advanced over time
Location of the early civilizations?
Early civilizations developed in areas with plenty of water and fertile soil. Places like Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Indus Valley, China, and Mesoamerica had the resources needed for farming, building cities, and creating advanced cultures. These natural resources played a key role in helping these civilizations grow and thrive.
