I new little of her backstory as it isn’t taught in depth in our syllabus in the book it shocks me the awful circumstance Elizabeth was left in at such a young age I did not realise the terror she had to endure.

The mortality rate shocked me as children had a 25 percent mortality rate and the average lifespan being 40 shows the shocking difference in time as it is around 80 in todays day and age this stuck with me as it made me realise that many of my family are well over the average age and the use of statistics truly extends the emphasis it shocked me greatly
