LTV= Limited Territorial Validity Visa
➢ for a validity period of one year
provided that the applicant has obtained and lawfully used three visas within the previous two years;
➢ for a validity period of two years
provided that the applicant has obtained and lawfully used a previous multiple-entry visa valid for one year within the previous two years
➢ for a validity period of five years

Visa for obtaining residence permit (Visa D)

VIS in the Schengen visa procedure:
- VIS: Visa Information System
- IT system among the member states to transfer information and data about visas in order to improve the control at the borders and the consultation among the member states and the central visa authorities
- Biometric data is stored in this system
In C type visas photo and 10 fingerprint required.
- Providing fingerprints for Visa C:
o Age limit: 12 years
o No need to provide:
Under 12 years
If provided within 59 months
If providing fingerprints is physically impossible (e.g.: missing finger)
Members of royal families, governments, heads of state and prime ministers arriving to official visit and members of their official delegation
In D type visas photo, 2 fingerprint (1 from each hand) and signature is required.
