Q

What is the Fundamental Option? Include in your description: heaven and hell as well as how individual moral choices matter.

A

Fundamental Option is that basic life-long choice that we make between living a God and other-centered life or a self-centered life. Every action we make affects our aim, on whether we will end up in heaven or whether we will end up in Hell. How we live and how we make our individual choices affect our aim and decide where we will end up.

Q

Know the basics of the Garden of Faith.

A

Seeds are given as a gift. We don’t make them they’re just there. Gardeners are in charge, they are given the seeds. The seeds need water, sun, and fertilizer. Weeds grow up with those, use a hoe to get them out.
Everyone is given seeds, we have to take care of them. Seeds are the seeds of faith, our parents have planted them by taking us to church, reading the bible, etc. The gardener is us, we let them grow. Water is prayer, God is the sun, weeds are Satan, garden hoe is used to root out the sin (we do this by reconciliation), and fertilizer is the bible, and Eucharist. We are responsible for our faith life. (Galatians 5:22-23) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
