Briefly describe black body radiation and quantum theory
A
Max Planck proposed that energy is quantised (E=hv) solving ultraviolet catastrophe ( fit experimental data curve of black body radiation)

Define the photoelectric effect
A
Light can eject electrons from a metal if it’s frequency is above a threshold frequency (characteristic of the metal). Einstein proposed light is quantised.
