2- Square that number
3- get from that result to the constant

Why can you not have a negative square root?
Idk but don’t do it
What is the discriminant?
In the quadratic formula: b squared - 4ac
No real roots:
B2 -4ac <0
Real and equal roots (repeated)
B2-4ac=0
Roots are real and unequal
B2-4ac>0
What’s the v v important thing to remember when reducing a quadratic equation?
To remove indicted use another letter to substitute e.g. Let a2 =x
When multiplying / dividing by a negative number to the other side of the inequality what must you do?
You must change the direction of the inequality
