an entertainer who performs spectacular gymnastic feats.
Acrophobia
extreme or irrational fear of heights.
Acropolis
the ancient citadel at Athens, containing the Parthenon and other notable buildings, mostly dating from the 5th century BC.
Altar
a table or flat-topped block used as the focus for a religious ritual, especially for making sacrifices or offerings to a deity.
