‘jerks’ wherein the performer executes a set of leg stretches in and out.
Jerking
It is generally performed by moving one’s body in a shimmy style and passing a hand through or near the hair on one’s head. The dance originated in Dallas, Texas, where it took its name from similar moves performed by 1980s rapper Doug E. Fresh.
Dougie
It refers to a dance styles that have
evolved outside of dance studios. It is performed in streets, dance parties, parks, school yards, or in any available space. It is often improvisational and social in nature, encouraging interaction and contact with spectators and other dancers.

It refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.
