Are you allowed to drive on the Hard Shoulder?
The Hard Shoulder is not an extra traffic lane and should normally be used only by pedestrians and cyclists.
Traffic may temporarily use the hard shoulder to allow faster vehicles to pass provided there are no pedestrians or cyclists using it.
What are the main differences between Motorways and Ordinary Roads?
The speed limit on a motorway goes up to 120 km/h. It is normally prohibited to stop or park on any part of the motorway. You must not make “U’ turns.
Motorways do not have right-hand turns, junctions, or roundabouts and must be joined and exited using a slip road to the left.

Ask someone to stand behind the car to check while you press the brake pedal.
If alone, drive up in front of a reflective surface - such as another car, a window, or a wall, and try to see the reflection.
What is the basic obligation of the law if you are involved in a car accident?
Stop your vehicle and remain at the scene for a reasonable time.
