How do find the hypotenuse of a triangle
Short sides are 3cm and 4cm

You do 4cm squared + 3cm squared which = the hypotenuse

How do find the shorter side of a triangle
Long dies is 13 and the other short side is 12cm

You always do the hypotenuse minus the short side. So it would be 12squared - 12squared = 169 -144 = 25 then you square root it so the other short side is 5
