-Whistle composition for 6 seconds, ignites bursting charge to produce sharp sound and white smoke cloud

-Firing cap is placed on the firing pin to strike the primer
-Flashes through igniting initiation charge which propels rocket out of tube
-Rocket propellant initiated by flash from initiating charge
-At 60m the delay assembly ignites the expelling charge which initiates flare and expels parachute at 200m burns for 60sec controlled descent
