A

Rather than managing files and services on a local storage device, you can do the same over the internet, in a cost effieicent manner.

24
Q

To understand cloud computing more lets say imagine you built a new house and need to get electricity for it. You have 2 choices 1) generate your own electricity 2) buy electricity from power company. If you decide to generate your own electricity you will have to spend a lot of time, money space and effort in building and maintaing power sources. This is highly dependent on whether too. If you buy from power company for a monthly fee. The power company ensures you have enough electricity to meet your needs. What are some cloud service providers and how is this example the same as Cloud computing?

A

Cloud service companies like Amazon web services work in the same way as power company. In the past business used to power their own equipment and maintain infrastructure through IT needs, things like switches fans and cables were maintained by IT department. This is expensive and can be unreliable. SO companies like AWS have the equipment and resources to provide on demand IT infrastructure via cloud.
