What is a PUSH FACTOR?
A factor that motivates a person to migrate away from their country or region of residence
What is a PULL FACTOR?
Something that attracts people to a place or an activity
What does EMIGRANT mean?
A person who leaves their own country in order to settle permanently in another
What does IMMIGRANT mean?
A person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.
What does MIGRATION mean?
The seasonal movement of animals or from one region to another/movement from one part of something to another
What does IMMIGRATION mean?
The action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country
What does EMIGRATION mean
The act of leaving one’s own country to settle permanently in another; moving abroad
What does MIGRATE mean?
The movement of an animal (typically a bird or fish) move from one region or habitat to another according to the seasons/move from one part of something to another
