Positive- supportive

Sentimental- strong feelings, emotinal f.ex. writing about a person
Sarcastic- ironic, making fun of something

Cautionary- giving warning f.ex. global warming
Concerned- worried f.ex. wars
Critical- negative judgements f.ex. comments online

What can I do to find the tone?

A
  1. Look at word choise- do they have positive, negative or no meaning at all.
  2. Analyze the phrasing used to describe events- facts? with or without opinion? sarcastic?
  3. Consider how you feel when reading- angry? sad?
